Vintage cookbook

A reprint, this is a facsimile of the first edition of The Boston Cooking-School Cook Book by Fannie Merritt Farmer. Titled 'The Original Boston Cooking-School Cook Book 1896', this contains so many recipes and info on cooking, from how to can and preserve fruits to meat dishes to pie and pastry. Once called the 'Bible of the American Kitchen,' this is a cool vintage find. The paperback itself shows its age with a previous owner having included some original notes within; see photos. Most recipes are untouched though and easy to read. Nonetheless, reflecting this in the price!
