This vertical panel beautifully depicts a traditional Springtime bird and blossom motif, a classic theme in oriental decorative arts. The artwork features a meticulously detailed pair of long-tailed songbirds interacting amid blooming narcissus (daffodils) and magnolias arising from behind a scholar’s rock. The entire scene is framed by an elegant, hand-painted gold geometric trellis (diaper-pattern) border. Fitted with a traditional brass hanging bracket at the top crest.
