Satsuma Style Pedestal Bowl
$60
This is definitely a statement piece.
Often called “Satsuma style” (even though that’s Japanese) because of the dense dotted background, gilt highlights, and narrative warrior scene. Chinese export potteries copied this style for Western buyers in the mid-20th century (1940s–1970s).
Hand-painted with raised gilt “moriage” enamel dots, depicting a battle procession scene surrounded by florals.
