Electric decorative fireplace log set insert

This is an electric decorative fireplace log set insert (often called an electric flame effect log insert). ​It is designed purely as an ambient decorative accent to place inside an unlit fireplace, hearth, or home display to simulate glowing embers and flickering flames without providing actual heat. ​How It Works ​Flickering Flame Effect: Inside the base is a low-wattage bulb housing surrounded by a rotating pattern cylinder (the red translucent tube shown in your second photo). As the internal element rotates, light casts through the openings to create the moving "flickering fire" pattern across the synthetic logs. ​No Heat Output: Unlike electric space heaters, ambient decorative log inserts do not contain a heating element or blower fan. They rely on standard low-wattage bulbs or LEDs solely for the lighting visual.
