Jarvis (1938–2023) was a versatile, lifelong independent artisan based out of London, Ontario. Known across Southern Ontario for his deep appreciation of nature, Jarvis split his creative talents between scenic canvas landscapes and highly collectible, hand-carved folk art wood sculptures and masks. His landscape works capture the quiet, rugged majesty of the Canadian wilderness with a soft texture and structural technique reminiscent of traditional wet-on-wet masters. Following the passing of the artist, his private studio estate was cataloged and archived in early 2024, making this a wonderful opportunity to own a registered piece of regional Ontario art history.
