Ji Gong is a legendary Buddhist monk from 13th-century China, also known as the "Mad Monk" or "Crazy Monk." He is a prominent figure in Chinese culture and folk religion, celebrated for his unconventional behavior. Despite being a monk, he was known to eat meat and drink wine, yet he possessed a kind heart and supernatural powers used to help the poor and fight injustice.
