Ojibway artist Norman Knott’s large black and white print. I’m not sure of the actual title of this print as research shows this print with different titles. Signed by the artist to the snottiness middle. Norman Knott, also known as White Bear, (1945-2003) was born at the Curve Lake Reserve, north of Peterborough, Ontario and spent his entire life in this small quiet community with his wife and three children. His work had a unique style that reflected his love of nature, symbolic motifs and spiritual representations of wildlife. Norman Knott was recognized as one of the most prolific Ojibway artists and his works are held in private collections which include Queen Elizabeth II, Pierre Trudeau and Johnny Cash to name a few. This print depicts an eagle, buffalo, wolf, dream catcher and faces of Indigenous people’s. Good condition. Professionally framed and matted. No issues. Any wear commensurates from prior usage. Art is approximately 11” wide and 15” long. Frame is approximately 17.5” wide and 20.7” long.
