A set of vintage Dominion Milk Glass/Opal Glass Greek-style ceramic Salt and Pepper shakers with an ancient motif. Dominion Glass Company milk glass is identified by marks like the iconic "D" in a diamond (used ~1928-1970s). Milk glass was originally a cheaper alternative to porcelain. An earlier name for milk glass was opal glass. The shakers feature a black and white design depicting the heroes Achilles and Ajax during the Trojan War playing a board game with dice with a Greek key pattern border. Salt and Peppers Shakers.
