Tool Antique Heller Bros Horse Hoof Rasp – Newark NJ Farrier vintage – 16" – $25 Wonderful old Heller Bros. farrier’s horse hoof rasp from Newark, New Jersey. About 16" long. Heavy solid steel with two different working surfaces - very coarse raised rasp teeth on one side and a finer file-cut surface on the reverse, plus toothed edges. Faint original horse trademark is still visible in the smooth centre section. Great authentic old working tool with lots of age, surface rust and patina. I have left it as found rather than aggressively cleaning it.
