Children's Confidence Building & Public Speaking Workshops

This is a free City of Toronto sponsored public speaking and confidence-building workshop series designed for children ages 5-17. The program runs for 4 Fridays in July, from 6 pm to 7:30 pm weekly, and is completely free to attend. The book, For Confident Children and refreshments are included for all participants. Only 50 spaces available Sign up here today: bit.ly/bravevoices2026 The goal of the "Brave Voices” program is to help young participants develop strong self-esteem, effective communication skills, and public-speaking confidence in a fun, supportive environment. Over 4 weekly sessions, children will engage in age-appropriate activities such as role-playing, storytelling, show-and-tell, and voice-modulation games that build not only speaking skills but also inner self-belief. Each workshop is structured to gradually increase in challenge, beginning in small groups and encouraging every child to contribute, express themselves, and be heard.
