A true collector's piece! Original 1994 vintage Ivy Leaf Celtic Knot hairslide/ barrette hairclip, made in France by St. Justin. Early production made of heavy pewter with a beautiful patina. Comes with its original black velvet bag and mini St. Justin infobook.
Design features beautiful Celtic ivy leaf knotwork representing protection, good luck, friendship and the binding together of lovers. Ivy is particularly associated with the Goddess and is worn by brides to bring luck to their marriage in pagan tradition.
Hairclip is in very good vintage condition, with light signs of age. It has a heavy-duty clip back that still has perfect tension. It measures about 9cm long x 3.5cm wide.
