Knechtel Double Pedestal Desk in Solid Wood

This vintage Knechtel double pedestal desk features 7 drawers that all open and close smoothly. The lower drawers on each pedestal are double depth for additional storage or filing. There are 2 slide out shelves in excellent condition, on the top of each pedestal for extra working space. Modern brushed nickel hardware has been added to elevate its aesthetic. The back of this desk is fully finished in solid wood to allow for placement in the middle of a room if desired. This is a solid and sturdy desk made by Knechtel Furniture Co. a quality Canadian made brand from Hanover, ON., since 1864.
