Great and really sturdy 14” laptop running windows 10 Pro. Excellent productivity machine for writing, web-browsing, research, data entry, etc. and can handle *some* more resource intensive tasks like photo editing/graphic design (make use of built in SD card reader) or light gaming. Backlit keyboard is a nice plus with fingerprint reader for sign-in and classic thinkpad trackpoint. Trackpad is fine but I recommend an external wireless mouse honestly. Boots from 1TB ssd, plus an additional 1TB drive for storage. added internal battery and swappable external battery (I never bothered to buy a second one but you could) gives respectable battery life for a somewhat older device. I still recommend using it plugged in generally though. Lockable Workstation dock allows easy connection and use of two additional monitors and numerous usb accessories, allowing seamless transition from laptop to desktop style workflow. Or attach the dock to a TV for Netflix, YouTube, presentations, etc. laptop can be used open or closed on dock and charges while attached. If you like to tinker with or upgrade devices this is great for you. I personally upgraded screen, ram, storage, battery, etc but there’s more you could do. Easy to open up and look inside, lots of great online guides to learn what you’re doing. Also seriously sturdy as mentioned, metal hinges, shock resistant plastic case and spill-proof keyboard mean this will last a very long time if treated decently. Or you can drop it or throw it about and abuse it and it will probably also last pretty long. 8GB ram Intel i5-4300u processor Total 2tb storage (1TB m.2 ssd and 1TB Sata hdd) Running latest version of Windows 10 Pro Could easily add Linux or Chrome OS on second drive. Laptop I/O: 2xUSB 3.0, 1xminiDiaplayPort, 1xVGA, 1x gigabit ethernet, 1x3.5mm audio jack, SD card reader, SIM card tray (idk if it has a cellular chip though so no guarantees there), Kensington Lock slot. Dock I/O: 3xUSB 3.0, 3xUSB 2.0, 1x gigabit ethernet, 2xDisplayPort, 1xDVI-D, 1xVGA, 1xHDMI, 1x3.5mm Audio jack, power port, Kensington lock slot.
