Mavo Phantox Pro Manual Coffee Grinder
$165
This is a lesser known underrated grinder outside of China, but holds up against more expensive competition. I won another one so got two of them now so selling the older one still in like new condition. Read up on it if you're not aware here or elsewhere. https://coffeegeek.com/blog/new-products/mavos-phantox-pro-wants-to-shake-up-the-mid-range-manual-grinder-market/ Great pourover grinder for light and medium roasts. Haven't tried with dark roasts but might work well there too. Has a really nice balance of flavour clarity and body with some nice sweetness and linger. Works well espresso too but requires some good grip and muscle (with dense lighter roasts especially). Can also be motorized with a drill and attachment it comes with a lid specifically designed for doing that. I've been doing spro over and soup type shots with really nice results. Grinding between espresso and pouriver size. Optionally Comes with unique high quality 3d printed cheese stand, the original travel bag and box it comes with. Not as well known of a brand but great build quality unique burrs and holds up against much more expensive grinders. Briefly tested against a friends Commandante c40 and Timemore m01 pineapple burr grinder and I think the zp6 and we preferred this one. Zp6 has higher clarity but was more tea like and less complex. The others lacked clarity vs the Mavo which surprised us. $165 without the funny cheese holder stand or $180 with it. Checkout my other listings for more coffee gear and accessories.
