Looking for a new roommate to share my 2br/2ba in controlled-access condo building in South Loop/Chinatown neighborhood. Features include in-unit washer and dryer, gas stove/oven and dishwasher, central A/C, high-speed Google fiber internet, high (10ft) ceilings, tall window and balcony views of Chicago skyline, and building's fitness room, locked storage room, security camera-equipped mail room with Amazon lockers for package deliveries. Close to major arteries of US-55 and US-90, public transit just steps away from CTA 62, 29, 24, 3/4, Red and Green lines. 35 minute walk to the lake and Museum Campus. I occupy the larger room with its own small bathroom, so you would have your own room and bathroom with full bathtub, shower, and wide counterspace for use exclusive to you. Pet allowance is limited to one dog or two cats due to the size of space and building rules, as I already have one pet. (Free-roaming Angora rabbit, so you must be okay with this. I avoid timothy hay due to my allergies, but other dried grass hays are present at all times.) I am a quiet and respectful person who prefers to spend time in my room to read or craft, or going to concerts and museums when I am out. I do not smoke and I drink rarely/socially. If you are or seek similar, this will be a pleasant and peaceful place for you! Private landlord is courteous and responsive. You can be added to the lease with me, or sublease through me for flexible duration and terms. Room will be available in January 2026. I am asking $950 flat for your share. This includes all utilities and I will cover your move-in fee ($250) required by the building management.
