Eaton's Braemore Green Wool Blanket

Cozy vintage Braemore wool blanket, a house brand exclusively sold by the historic Canadian department store Eaton's. Approximately 65" x 82". Satin trim is in excellent vintage condition, but the stitching has come loose along certain areas. There is some wear to the wool in certain areas, such as two very small holes and one patched area (please see photos for details). Braemore was one of several labels used by the T. Eaton Co. for their high-quality textile lines. The "All Wool" designation indicates it is made from 100% natural wool fibers, a hallmark of mid-century Eaton's blankets, and features a satin binding. The woven label typically points to a production date between the 1940s and early 1960s. Vintage Eaton's wool blankets in good condition are highly collectible.
