Lady Christina Vintage Vinyl Place Mats - Set of 4

New Old Stock Sealed Set of 4 12x18" Step directly into an untouched 1970s design time capsule with this spectacular, deadstock set of four vinyl placemats by the historic Canadian brand Lady Christina. Manufactured by Decorative Linens out of Montreal, Quebec, these pristine mats feature a jaw-dropping, high-vibrancy psychedelic flower-power motif bursting with oversized mod daisies, cartoon roses, and abstract floral clusters. Rendered in a quintessential retro palette of sunny harvest gold, atomic orange, bubblegum pink, and bright lime green, this set serves as the ultimate investment-grade collector piece to anchor a mid-century modern teak dining setting, a retro ranch kitchen, or a high-kitsch design display. As a true factory-sealed survivor that has spent over fifty years tucked safely away from light and dust, the colors remain at full, original factory intensity with absolutely zero fading, sun-bleaching, or washing wear. The mats feature an iconic scalloped border edge, a heavy canvas-textured wipeable vinyl top surface, and a protective heat-resistant foam backing. The bilingual paper marketing label is incredibly crisp, proudly displaying the original graphic logo and "Style 53" manufacturing code. Completely flat and entirely unwarped, this rare piece of Canadian retail history is an absolute crown jewel for collectors who refuse to compromise on authenticity. Condition Details • Factory Packaging & Seal: The original factory cellophane shrink-wrap remains perfectly tight and completely sealed along all four outer edges, ensuring the mats inside have never been removed or handled; the front plastic face displays two minor, age-appropriate storage tears (one near the center flower cluster and one near the lower right edge), but the internal contents remain entirely protected. • Material & Component Name: The four foam-backed vinyl placemats are in flawless, unused "New Old Stock" condition, sitting perfectly flat with absolutely zero structural warping, memory-bending, or storage distortion. • Surface & Finish: The graphic finish boasts magnificent, museum-quality color saturation and crisp printing lines, remaining as vibrant as the day it rolled off the Montreal assembly line.
