Memphis was a Japanese guitar maker for Gibson during the 70s and 80s, this model in particular is a 21 fret Strat copy with a single humbucker bridge pickup with a quite decent clean and distorted tone. Very little is known about this model online as it is quite rare, my best guess according to research is that it is from around 1979 to 1984. It has brand new strings. I set it up a few days ago, checked and fixed intonation, fixed the bridge, as well as adjusted the truss rod to accommodate for 9 gauge strings as it used to wear 10s. Overall, solid and straightforward guitar for a Beginner/Early Intermediate player who enjoys a clean sound but also likes to crank up distortion quite high. Recording is played through a BOSS Katana MKII 50w for reference Local pickup ONLY, selling AS IS
