Up for sale is a matching pair of mid-century JAJ Hysil Heat Proof Glass Casserole Covered Dishes in the rare, retro "Decor" pattern (No. 509 and No. 513). These pieces are New Old Stock (NOS)—they have never been used, never washed, and remain beautifully preserved in their original vintage factory boxes! Manufactured in Sunderland, England by James A. Jobling & Co. (the famous makers of British Pyrex), the Hysil commercial line features durable, bright white milk-glass bases adorned with a beautiful, vivid botanical/vegetable print and clear, heavy borosilicate glass utility lids. What is Included in This Set: Hysil No. 509 Casserole Dish: Medium capacity round/oval baker with its original clear glass lid and original box. Hysil No. 513 Casserole Dish: Larger capacity round/oval companion baker with its original clear glass lid and original box. Condition: Glassware: Mint / Flawless New Old Stock. The patterns are rich and completely free of fade, scratches, or dishwasher dullness. Glass interiors are smooth with zero utensil marks, flea bites, or chips. Boxes: Great vintage condition overall.
