Vintage 1940s-era wooden desktop set with mother of pearl inlay

Vintage 1940s-era wooden desktop set, likely from the USSR. Warm brown wood carved and inlaid with mother of pearl and resin beads. Set includes a double inkwell with enclosed compartment, rocking ink blotter, straight edge, and letter opener. Straight edge is missing center MOP piece, otherwise intact and in excellent condition. Unique and highly collectible piece!
