Vintage 1968-1973 Ind Coope Double Diamond Illuminated Sign

OPEN TO OFFERS- Up for sale is a rare, highly collectible piece of authentic British pub history: an original late 1960s / early 1970s Ind Coope "Double Diamond" Illuminated T-Bar Beer Pump Font Header Light. This is a genuine, heavy-duty commercial pub tap fixture from the UK, featuring a premium chrome-plated steel frame and a dark green/black dual-sided acrylic display faceplate. Historical Context: This exact variation features the gilded Royal Warrant crest reading: “By Appointment to Her Majesty the Queen, Brewers of Ale and Lager, Ind Coope Limited, Burton-on-Trent.” Because the brewery officially dropped "Allsopp" from its corporate name to become Ind Coope Limited in 1968, this specific layout dates the piece precisely to a short production window between 1968 and 1973, before the mid-70s corporate shift to plastic tap pods. Condition Details (As Shown in Photos): Acrylic Display Screen: Pristine condition. The colors are incredibly crisp, and the graphic is completely free of the typical heat-warping, melting, or heavy fading common to these units when left running under old-school pub bulbs. Chrome Housing: Beautifully preserved with excellent reflection. Only minor, microscopic surface wear consistent with age and genuine pub use. No pitting or peeling. Fully wired and tested. As seen in the photos, it lights up perfectly, casting a clean glow through the iconic orange and red 3D "DD" logo and main lettering. Rear Configuration: Features the original deep vertical cylindrical mounting groove designed to clamp tightly around a standard vintage multi-tap pub column pipe. The original brewery inventory/station sticker "15" remains completely intact on the back. This is an exceptional, ruggedly built showpiece perfect for any high-end home bar, mancave, or British breweriana collection. Intact surviving examples of this specific heavy metal era especially over here in North America in working, unwarped condition are exceptionally hard to find.
