Vintage Ludwig Drum Set 24,13,16,18 1970 3 Ply Shells!

1970 Ludwig Drum Set. 3 ply shells with reinforcing rings on all drums. Pointy blue and olive badges. This is an amazing sounding player’s set with some rare/desirable sizes, ready to hit the stage or studio as is or makes a great platform for a rewrap in the finish of your choice! They appear to be covered in a thin faux wood wrap currently, so stripping them down would likely be easier than a set with a stock heavier plastic wrap. The kit has a 13x11 tom that came that way from the factory, all other 13 inch toms from this era are 9” deep, and I’ve only seen one other 11” deep 13 inch tom in my 30 years of playing vintage Ludwig’s. No missing parts or modifications/extra holes except one thing on the bass drum that will be noted below. Priced to sell at $1800 for the whole kit, I very much prefer to sell it together but will consider splitting them up, I will put individual prices next to the descriptions of each drum below. Delivery is available -24”x14” Bass Drum-Dec 18 1970 Date Stamp, Remo Powerstroke 3 batter and vintage Ludwig Striders reso head with Ludwig logo. I believe this was the left hand bass drum from a double bass set so it has two factory holes on the top panel for a cymbal l-arm mount, and unfortunately someone drilled (chopped with an axe?) holes for a Ludwig tom mount and used the badge hole as one of the screw holes for the mount. Ugly but can be plugged before rewrapping if going that route.
