Rare Vintage Australian Steelite Reel & Salmon/Ocean Rod ​Selling a classic vintage ocean fishing setup featuring an original S&A Steelite Bakelite reel (Made in Sydney, Australia) paired with a 2-piece green fiberglass rod with a turned-wood long handle. Excellent display piece for vintage tackle collectors or functional setup for ocean mooching and trolling. ​Reel: Vintage 1930s-style S&A "Steelite" Bakelite ocean reel (Reg. No. 1869 / 29.4.31). Features a solid Bakelite housing and dual handles. ​Rod: 2-piece green fiberglass ocean trolling rod (~85") equipped with chrome guides, brass accent wraps, and a classic turned wooden rear grip. ​Condition: Fair-to-good vintage condition. Reel body is solid without cracks; original patina/oxidation present on brass & metal fittings. Rod guides and wood handle are intact.
