Beautiful 1809 Admiral Gardner shipwreck 10 cash coin dated 1808

#2010-025 in BCB. Uncleaned or possibly lightly/partially cleaned. I have two of these coins posted. To see all my coins and banknotes, search zzz. Thanks for looking and have a good day! On 25 January 1809, the Admiral Morgan was lost east of Kent, England, when a gale tore her from her moorings. Several crew members drowned. Also lost was her cargo, a large number of EIC X and XX copper cash coins. The East India Company put the value of its cargo at £21,579. The gale also sunk two other ships. The Gardner wreck was found in 1984 and some coins were salvaged in 1985 during a licensed dive. The wreck was designated under the Protection of Wrecks Act in 1985. Slava Ukrayini! Please note, I am not a dealer nor business, I'm simply selling my collections spanning decades. I don't buy or trade, nor meet or deliver... all purchases can be picked up in the lobby of my building of residence at Broadview/Pottery. I will gladly ship most items but will not pay postage nor accept responsibility for loss.
