Fluval FX5 Canister Filter, Saltwater Use, Needs Cleaning
$55
Fluval FX5 canister filter. I ran this on my saltwater reef tank as extra filtration / movement and water polishing. It was working when I took it off-line. It powers on and the impeller spins. Priced for the work it needs. $55 OBO. Condition, no sugarcoating: Heavy crusted, Calcification inside the canister and baskets. (it held some live rock & a bunch of critters). Gaskets should probably be replaced. A knob lock or two is worn but still works. Hoses included. Best for someone comfortable cleaning and rebuilding a canister. Not plug and play. Sold as is, condition noted honestly above. Local pickup only in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, $55 OBO.
