Important / Honest Details: The catalytic converter has been removed, so the check engine light is on. This does NOT affect how the SUV drives. In BC this is not required for operation. On cold starts, the engine makes a brief timing chain noise for about 1–2 seconds. The timing chain tensioner works with oil pressure, and the small locking tab inside the tensioner is worn. Once oil pressure builds, the chain tightens normally and the noise disappears immediately.
