Rösler upright piano - European-designed well-maintained instrument. I googled based on the serial number 72448 and it’s built around early 1980s. Rösler pianos from this era were made in Czechoslovakia at the Petrof factories. It has a typical warm rich tone from a very compact cabinet so that it sounds like a much more expensive piano. It plays dynamics effortlessly with a wonderful medium touch and wonderful resonance. It also has a middle soft pedal so you can do some midnight practice without annoying the neighbours! Great quality piano to anyone from beginner to intermediate /advanced. At nearly half the price of an equivalent Yamaha it represents great value. I can honestly say this piano sounds gorgeous. I’m a classical pianist and when I was in university, this was the best instrument I could afford. It has a few cosmetic imperfections such as small scratch on the white keys, and a couple of small lacquer blemishes. Measurements in inches are: 43.5 high x 22.5 deep x 56.5 wide. This is model R109. It has a compact design making them ideal for smaller spaces. But the sound it produces is like from a baby grand piano. Soundboard is built with high-quality spruce wood for optimal resonance. Soundboards, bridges, and pin-blocks in good condition. This has been regularly tuned. Located near St Clair and Birchmount.
