Vintage Brass and Copper Candle Snuffer Twist

Lovely, rustic, small brass and copper candle snuffer with a twisted handle. Solid brass with nice vintage patina. Perfect for farmhouse or romantic decor. Some soot and wax residue. 11 1/2" long. Also known as a candle extinguisher or douter. It’s to extinguish burning candles by depriving the flame of oxygen, which prevents the wax and soot from being blown and making a mess.
