Vintage Kenwood Ramcrest Wool Blanket Aqua

Cozy Kenwood Ramcrest blanket. All virgin wool, made in Canada. Has a pretty aqua/mint color with light beige trim. Super warm and soft, great for snuggling up. This is a high-quality vintage textile once manufactured by Kenwood Mills (later part of Huyck Canada Ltd.) in Arnprior, Ontario. These blankets are highly regarded for their durability and warmth, and while the factory no longer produces them, they remain popular collectors' items. Approximately 62" x 71". There is some damage to the satin detailing, one tiny hole noticed, and one small stained area, with general wear (please see photos for details). The ram logo was the trademark for Huyck products. These blankets are made of 100% virgin wool and feature satin-bound edges. They date anywhere from 1918 until blanket production ceased in the 1960s-70s.
