Large Antique Art Deco Oak Bevelled Mirror. H. 91.4cm

This mirror originated in South Wales and is solid oak. The dark, aged oak surface shows a rich patina developed over a century, enhancing its authentic character. There is some evidence of "desilvering" appearing as black or brown spots caused by age or moisture breaking down the silver backing, as shown in the photos. There are various ways to repair or conceal this, if desired. However, it is still a functional mirror and a striking decorative accent, perfect for an entryway, hallway, or fireplace mantel. Overall, this mirror is in fair to good used antique condition. Signs of wear consistent with age. This mirror would benefit from more care and attention.
