Beautiful vintage mid-century Japanese porcelain decorative display plate.
Measures 5.5 inches in diameter. The front features a highly detailed, hand-painted traditional scene depicting Geishas in vibrant kimonos resting in a lakeside garden under blooming purple wisteria.
The back features the authentic red underglaze workshop stamp reading "Great Japan / Made by Kumagai" (大日本 熊谷製).
Condition: Excellent vintage condition. No chips, cracks, or crazing. Vibrant colors and gold gilt rim accents are well-preserved.
