Vintage Mid-Century Solid Wood Folding Dining Chairs – Project S
$90
4 vintage mid-century solid wood folding dining chairs. These are NOT cheap modern/plyable chairs. They feature heavy-duty vintage hardware and a unique lift-to-fold nesting mechanism. It folds from the back as indicated where my hand is. They have a unique lift-to-fold nesting mechanism that allows the heavy hardwood frames to feel completely sturdy and solid like permanent dining furniture when opened, unlike cheap, unstable modern folding chairs. The frames are solid, sturdy, and fold flat beautifully. These are generally worth at least $80-150 for one chair and and $300 or more for a pristine set of four. Perfect DIY restoration project for a vintage flipper. PRICING: - $30 for the untouched chair - $20 for the partially stripped chair Take all four for 90. Condition: Wood frames and hardware are fantastic. Padded seats need a complete reupholster (the faux leather is peeling/stripped as shown). Seats unscrew easily from underneath for quick recovering. We tried to do it ourselves but never finished. Pick up Elmhurst, Queens. OBO
