1981 GMC Vanguard Motorhome
$8,000
We just drove this camper from Calgary to the Valley and we had no troubles whatsoever. Zero breakdowns, zero concerns. It currently has 137,179km on it.
The camper has tons of storage and sleeping space, a propane-based stove and fridge, full bathroom with toilet, tub, and shower, and comfortable seating.
It’s 21 feet long, has a built-in propane tank (currently about half full), and is about half full of water.
Neither the furnace nor the air conditioner work but since we didn’t need them on our trip we didn’t bother investigating. We don’t know what’s wrong.
The vehicle doesn’t have air conditioning, either, but that’s because the belt was removed, as the previous owner wanted to save fuel apparently.
There is no inverter so plugging in would be necessary for power when at a campsite. The cord is plenty long for that, however.
The speedometer is inaccurate — the vehicle goes faster than it indicates — but the other gauges seem right.
