Rare Circa 1913 Longines 17-Jewel Mechanical Pocket/Pendant Watch – 20K White Gold Case – 5 Adjustments. An exceptional early Longines mechanical pocket/pendant watch dating to approximately 1913, housed in an unusual rectangular 20K white-gold case. This collector piece combines early Swiss horology, substantial precious-metal content, distinctive period design and a signed Longines movement. The manual-wind movement is signed: LONGINES W. Co. SWISS, 17 JEWELS, 5 ADJ. The movement serial falls within a range associated with approximately 1913 based on published Longines serial references, so the watch is described conservatively as circa 1913. The case is stamped “20K W.G.”, indicating 20-karat white gold. The complete assembled watch weighs approximately 50.44 grams, while the removable rear case panel alone weighs approximately 12.00 grams, both documented in the listing photographs.
