Vintage PYREX glass 1 cup measuring cup

Take the opportunity to pick up a vintage PYREX measuring cup. Uppercase PYREX pieces by Corning, Inc. were produced until the late 1990s using durable borosilicate glass. This type of glass made the measuring cups more durable and highly resistant to sudden temperature changes (thermal shock) than their more contemporary counterparts. They are more resistant to cracks and chips making them ideal for sustainable every day use. “They don’t make them like the used to”. This piece has no chips or cracks and the measurement and labelling is still bright and vivid. It does have some scratches consistent with its age (see pictures). Driveway pickup
