Nice 1682-1718 Russia Peter I the Great silver kopek wire money

#2017-0789, WB. Russian wire money, hand-struck between 1475 and 1729, was cut from wires or cable and usually have on the obverse (front), a horseman, left, spearing a dragon, bottom right. The horseman is Moscow’s patron Saint George The reverse is Cyrillic script and attribution to the king. To see all my coins and banknotes, search zzz,, or 'Russian coins' for just those.
