Mid-century Walnut Magnavox Stereo - Use or Convert!

A rare opportunity for a discerning audiophile or creative woodworker. Located in Mission, BC.   Purchased in 1965 and owned and loved by one family since then, this Magnavox Astro Sonic model #3831 features a record player that plays 16s, 33s, 45s & 78s. The record player is functioning but needs some work.  It also has a built-in cassette player which is not functioning well, and an AM-FM radio that works. The speakers need a bit of TLC.  The crowning jewel of this stereo is its distressed walnut console that is in excellent condition. It could be converted to a bar, a cabinet, (see Photo) or modernized with new audio components.   Dimensions are 66” long, 19 ¾” deep, and 28 ¾” high. Includes an Astatic N410-7d diamond phonograph record player stylus needle, a record cleaner, vintage Baycrest headphones and 2 Lloyds microphones that are compatible with the cassette player.
