Late 19th century Victorian sepia toned Daguerreotype of a young child in an ornate frame and case. Of note: In photography, sepia toning is a chemical process that converts the silver in a black and white print into a silver sulfide compound. Good condition considering the age. Any wear commensurates with the age. Daguerreotype is approximately 1.5” wide and 2” long. Frame is approximately 2 1/3” wide and 3” long.
