Antique two coloured hand drawn lithograph of Chaudiere Falls Ottawa River Ottawa Canada by the artist Wm. S. Hunter Jr. (1823-1894). Wm. S. Hunter is noted to the bottom left and J. H. Bufford is noted to the bottom right. Circa 1840. This hand coloured lithograph was published by J. H. Bufford in Boston. The image of this lithograph appeared in Hunter’s book titled “Hunter’s Ottawa Scenery 1855.” This lithograph was framed and matted under glass in 1969 by the Robertson Galleries in Ottawa, Ontario. An amazing Canadian historical lithograph and very collectible. Good condition. No issues. Any wear commensurates with the age. Lithograph is approximately 11.5” wide and 8.5” long. Frame is approximately 18 1/3” wide and 16 1/3” long.
