Gigabyte G5 KF5 Gaming Laptop — RTX 4060, i7-12650H, 16GB
$900
Gigabyte G5 KF5 gaming laptop. Selling because I bought it with tax return but don't need it my old one still works perfectly fine—it was a bit of an impulse buy.
SPECS
• CPU: Intel Core i7-12650H — 10 cores / 16 threads
• GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Laptop — 8GB GDDR6 (dedicated)
• RAM: 16GB DDR5-4800 (2x8GB) — 2 slots, upgradeable to 64GB
• Storage: 1.5TB total across two NVMe SSDs
512GB Gigabyte NVMe (boot drive)
1TB Samsung 980 NVMe (second drive — INCLUDED, already installed)
• Display: 15.6" 1920x1080 IPS @ 144Hz
• Wi-Fi 6E (Intel AX211) + Bluetooth + Gigabit Ethernet port
• Webcam + per-key RGB backlit keyboard
• Windows 11 Home — activated with an OEM digital license tied to the board, so it re-activates itself on any reinstall. No key hunting.
CONDITION — being straight with you
• Fresh clean install of Windows. No bloat, no accounts, no leftover files.
• Both SSDs test healthy. Body is clean — a few very minor scuffs on the outer chassis, nothing cracked, nothing structural, screen and hinges are perfect.
• Battery holds 43,443 mWh of its original 52,514 mWh = 83% health. Normal for the age, still gets you real unplugged time, and it's a user-replaceable part.
Two honest problems:
The built-in speakers sound bad. Genuinely bad — tinny and muffled. Headphones, USB, Bluetooth and HDMI audio all work perfectly, so it's the speakers only. If you game with a headset (most people do) you will never notice. This is the main reason the price is what it is.
The keyboard backlight is RGB and won't do a clean white. Any colour, just not white. Cosmetic only.
Everything else works exactly as it should — GPU, thermals, ports, Wi-Fi, webcam, trackpad, display, charging. Comes with the original charger.
