Antique Knife sharpening Board/utensil Holder and Pumice

This is an actual vintage piece that could be used in many different ways (I've used AI in the photos to give an idea of different uses) It has so much rustic charm. Also included is a large vintage pumpice stone to sharpen all your knives. A Newfoundland knife sharpening/polishing board. The well used board has a box at the base for storing brick dust, grit stone or other abrasive substances. When a knife needed sharpening, the board was laid flat, covered in fat or dampened with water, and the abrasive substance was applied, then the knife would have been drawn over the mixture to sharpen or polish the blade.
