Vintage Japanese Cobalt Blue Ceramic Oil Lamp

A stunning vintage Japanese oil lamp. The base is crafted from ceramic featuring a striking, deep cobalt blue glaze. The glossy body is beautifully accented by crisp white bands. It comes complete with its original clear glass chimney (clean and in excellent condition) and an ornate brass-toned metal burner mechanism with a functional adjustment knob. The bottom retains both its original "Made in Japan" foil sticker and the gold "Gi" manufacturer/importer logo, proving its authentic vintage heritage. Dimensions: max. height is 27 cm; max. width is 8 cm; and max. depth is 8 cm. Excellent vintage condition, with no obvious flaws, chips or cracks. There is some crazing on the base, which is common for vintage pottery. Please review all photos closely as they form part of the description.
