Selling broken old electronis(Box packaging) - blocking contact.

I think this man purposefully scammed me and will continue doing so. He taped the broken item into a closed box so I could not check the quality. He said the items were new, but it was not working at all. I really do not think it was a mistake as he blocked me right after when I asked him about it. He is also currently deleting all of his information. His sales list has been deleted as well. I'm sad because I don't think I can trust buying things like I used to. I captured the conversation with him and posted it. He's a Caucasian guy in his between 60s-65s He is about 1.76-1.78 meters tall, thin, wears glasses, and brought Dolly. Another seller told me that he lives with seven cats. He is blocking and deleting people's reviews. I don't think it was a mistake. It seems like a professional scammer. Be aware! Its not really about the it wasn't about the money but more the bad intention. He was a caucasian man in his mid-60s, and I was hurt by his actions of breaking trust over a amount of money. I don't think this was a mistake. He professionally collects free items. (Over 99% of the items on his review list were obtained for free.) The reason the reviews scored high is also because they pretended to be kind and took free items. Rick contacted me and said he would get two for free. Because I appreciated him coming from far away, I decided to purchase one of the items Rick was selling, a food saver. While he took the Figurine I uploaded for free, he gave me this food saver. 5 minutes after purchasing the item I tried to use the product, but it didn't work. It was already a broken item. it doesn’t turn on at all. So I sent a text message, but he ignored it and has not contacted me. I want to connect with the person who bought an item from him and also with Carrot customer service. Please contact me.
