Vintage 1970s Rosewood Loveseat — Sculptural Wood Frame

A spectacular vintage 1970s loveseat with a substantial rosewood frame, dramatic curved arms and generously cushioned upholstery. Purchased new from Toronto’s iconic Art Shoppe in the 1970s, this piece comes from a beautifully furnished private home. The sculptural frame is the standout here — rich, dark rosewood with broad architectural legs and beautifully curved wooden supports that wrap around the sides and back. The cream textured upholstery provides a lovely contrast to the dark wood. Deep, comfortable seating with a relaxed, low-slung 1970s silhouette. Exceptionally heavy and solidly constructed. This is a substantial piece of furniture. Dimensions: 60”W × 34”D × 26”H Seat height: 15” A matching full-size sofa is also available separately. Pickup: Downtown Toronto, at Adelaide & Sherbourne.
