The lid is crowned with Sadler’s signature molded gold ribbon/bow finial. The bottom features the authentic impressed/debossed "SADLER ENGLAND" maker's mark, the handwritten pattern number 2822, and the original artisan's hand-painted decorator initials ("jc").
