Tutoring Service - Reach for the Stars

Hello! My name is Sydney Mastervick, and I just finished my first year at Carelton University in Ottawa, Ontario. I'm from London, Ontario, where I attended London Central Secondary School for four years and graduated with Award of Excellence. I started my own tutoring business just over a year ago. I have helped so many high school and public school kids who were close to failing their classes that are now excellling. I've always had a passion for STEM, and I will be entering my second year in September at Carleton University for an undergraduate program in astrophysics. I've also always had a knack for helping people learn. At the moment, I can tutor elementary students in: - English/Literacy - Math - Science And secondary students in: - English (Grade 9-12) - General Science (Grade 9-12) - Math (including calculus) (Grade 9-12) - Chemistry (Grade 9-12) - Physics (Grade 9-12) - Computer Science (Grade 9-11) I can provide 1-on-1 tutoring sessions or group tutoring sessions (maximum of five people per group). These sessions can be either in-person at a desired location such as a library or remotely via zoom or a similar service. For individual sessions, I charge $25 per hour for elementary/middle school tutorring/high school English tutoring and $40 per hour for high school stem tutoring. For group sessions I charge $20 per hour for elementary/middle school turing/high school English tutoring and $35 per hour for high school stem tutoring. Sessions can be booked in either one - or two hour time blocks. But most importantly, I'm willing to teach in a way that works best for you, the student. If you're a visual learner, that's awesome! I can make that work and provide lessons and resources that cater to your needs. The same goes for any other learning style. With this, I can also provide you with additional learning materials for your studying outside our sessions as well as help you discover a studying method that works best for you (spaced repetition, flashcards, etc).
