Vintage Pair of Len Gibbs Hand-Signed Prairie Prints

For sale is a beautiful, sequentially numbered matching pair of vintage mid-century Canadian prairie landscape prints by renowned artist Leonard James (Len) Gibbs (1929–2010). This set features two of his most iconic rural scenes: • No. 815: "Homestead" – A moody, atmospheric depiction of a weathered wooden barn and shed against a stormy prairie sky. • No. 816: "The Tilled Road" – A bright, expansive view featuring deep dirt tracks leading toward a distant farmhouse. Authenticity & Details: • Hand-Signed: Unlike standard commercial replicas with flat printed signatures, both of these pieces were individually hand-signed by Len Gibbs in the corner, leaving distinct, physical indents in the paper. • Catalog Numbers: The original publisher's catalog pencil markings (815 and 816) are present on the back. • Framing: Both pieces come professionally housed in their original vintage, distressed cracked-gold wooden frames with premium off-white linen double-matting and gold inner trims. Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The prints are crisp with no fading, water damage, or warping. The frames show minor, natural vintage wear consistent with age, which adds to their rustic charm. The glass has been safely cleaned and is completely clear. These are beautiful, nostalgic pieces of historical Canadian art that balance each other perfectly on a wall. Selling strictly as a matching pair. Dimensions: 13.5 x 11.5
