This coffee table has a lift-top design for extra storage as well as lower shelf. It's made of dark wood with a subtle grain. There's a small scuff on the surface. It is expandable (middle piece can be stored inside the drawer). 43"x23.5" (with extra panel, it becomes 60" long)
