It originates from the world-renowned Thanh Le workshop in the Thu Dau Mot region of Vietnam. Active during the mid-20th century "Golden Age" of Vietnamese lacquer (Sơn mài), Thanh Le pieces are highly sought after for their superior craftsmanship and elegant blending of traditional techniques with modern aesthetics. The panel features a classic Bamboo motif, a symbol of longevity and resilience. The design is meticulously hand-applied using genuine gold leaf over deep, multi-layered black lacquer. The contrast creates a luminous effect that shifts beautifully with the light.
