2007 Nissan Versa SL 6-SPD Manual, Winter tires

One of the first few batches of Nissan Versa’s to make their way into Canada. This 2007 was purchased in October 2006 and picked up in January 2007 when it finally arrived. When the salesperson said she will see me again in a few years I politely told her that I planned on keeping this car for 20 years! My daughters learned how to drive stick on this car. My wife relearned how to drive stick on this car. This car has been a wonderful part of our family but it is time to say good-bye. I like to be as upfront as possible so here is the rundown: 214,908kms on the car Winter tires on Aluminum Rims – Still pretty decent and good get you a couple years for sure Summer Tires on original Nissan Aluminum Rims – These are worn and while they could get you through this summer, you would likely need to replace them next year New Front brake pads and rotors Rear brakes were replaced a few years ago and are still in good shape I replaced the original 6 disk changer stereo with an Andrioid Auto/Apple Carplay Head unit. Works great. I have a brand new set of rear brake drums and shoes and 2 lower control arms because I had dreams of keeping this car for longer but I am lacking the ambition. Spark Plugs were last replaced at around 180k While it says it has AC, the AC compressor seized so I had the shop bypass it…so no AC. It also makes a noise when turning but as I noted above, I lack the ambition and time to dig into it. Then again it is nearly 20 years old so I would expect creaks. Lastly, the catalytic convertor may have an issue. It pops up a code, I dump some fuel and exhaust system cleaner in it and the code clears. It comes back every 3 or 4 months. A new catalytic convertor is about 4x what this car is worth at this point. If you need a cheap winter beater or want to learn how to drive stick or just need 4 wheels to get you from A to B, this is the car for you!
